Description

Behind the front lines in the charming town Poperinge is where the soldiers went for rest and recreation. We visit Talbot House and find out about the life of the soldiers but also civivilians. We visit Lijssenthoek cemetery and the visitor center where we find out about the evacuation of the wounded and treatment of difficult cases.
With our new Zealand guests we visit the grave of Dave Gallaher at Nine Elms cemetery.
